A Pigeon Named Duck!

The accepted levels of cruelty to the pigeons in Malta are dangerous to young developing minds. Cruelty is cruelty, like abuse is abuse, it doesn't matter the subject, when you are teaching your children cruelty by way of example you are effectively robbing them of much needed happiness and it will impact their lives in adulthood. Cruel children grow into miserable adults!

...this afternoon at St George Square in Valletta, there was a little boy happily feeding the birds, what ever wanted to eat his crumbs. The smile on his face was priceless. All of a sudden a family of four (+grandparents), sat down to eat at a neighboring restaurant and the two children saw this boy's joy and raced out onto the square with the intention to frighten the birds away, trying to kick the pigeons as they ran along. The boy's smile was gone and replaced with anger, who then made the shape of a gun with the last bread crust left in his hand and pointed it at the two children, as if he was trying to shoot them. The boy's mother was responsible enough to correct his behavior by way of communicatio, however, the two children's parent's weren't; who encouraged the two children to continue. It was very disappointing to watch such negligent parents, because at the end of the day, they are taking kids home with hatred in their hearts and that's more damaging than giving them a smack on the bum!

THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE PIGEONS, THE PROBLEM IS HATRED!
