Good Morning Michael,
My name is Mrs Anne Agius (Gelicrisio) and I am writing to you today because I strongly feel a matter of concern needing your attention.
I occasionally use the fitness centre at the Westin Dragonara Resort managed by Mr Duncan Cuschieri and each time I enter as a paying customer (upon receiving the odd monetary donation) there is a confrontation with one of your managers, who goes out of his way to make trouble and may I add, needlessly.
The previous encounter was when I was showering, just before entering the shower cubical while still in the ladies change rooms, Mr Duncan Cuschieri took it upon himself to enter, with the support of another female attendant who was under his strict instruction, (and I was wearing only a sports bra and skimpy shorts that I did not wish to expose to him) and make false accusations refusing me the opportunity to respond; and then he had the check to further instruct me on how to shower ‘while on his premises,’ he said.
When I finished my shower, I approached the front counter that he was attending and requested your email and that of Mr Jonathan Borg’s to formally complain through the correct channels as my intention was only to right a wrong, and was denied by his arrogance. He further added, ‘what do you want, I’m the boss around here and everything goes through me... it is me who is doing you a favour by letting you come in and use our facilities’, which made no sense what so ever as I am a paying customer. The service was not for free!
Today yet another confrontation THAT DID NOT EVEN INVOLVE Mr Duncan Cuschieri who went out of his way to obstruct my right to seek information for prospective use of facilities.
I entered the said fitness centre as usual upon receiving the odd monetary donation to shower and while I was at it, I took the opportunity to request information with regards utilizing the aerobics room outside of class times for the purpose of offering women of malta FREE KICKBOXING LESSONS, as part of a campaign that wrongs violence against women (as posted online via my chatterbohxpress website - http://chatterbohxpress.wixsite.com/voicebohx/single-post/2017/03/06/FREE-KICKBOXING-CLASSES).
While I was communicating on civil terms with the blonde female attendant, who was politely showing me the size of the aerobics room and the punching bag mounting area, Mr Duncan Cuschieri comes flying into the room, stands in the middle of us and instructs this female attendant to cease her efforts in providing a service to me and that she is under his strict instruction to refer all my enquiries to him. Her face changed colour and she all of a sudden become embarrassed by his conduct and scared of him, reluctantly handing me a work out time table and concurrent price list. I didn’t bother with a shower today and for her comfort, left quietly. Upon exit and much to my disappointment, I have been informed that this man is very good friend of my husband.
Furthermore, I was not asking for FREEBEE’S. The women that I will be assisting with FREE Kickboxing Lessons who don’t want to train outside, will only be required to pay for day use of the facilities at your fitness centre - at the Westin Dragonara Resort.
I trust that someone of your calibar, Mr Kamsky, will make every effort to ensure the matter will be resolved promptly and on fair terms; and an apology in writing from Mr Duncan Cuschieri would certainly go along way.
